Be-YOU-Tiful Advocacy Campaign

Be-YOU-Tiful Advocacy Campaign
Be-YOU-tiful is an Advocacy Campaign in connection with TheCrownAct that advocates for the end of hair discrimination against Black Women and young black girls in school and at work. I decided to give my posters a brighter concept with black women in different hair types and styles looking happy in their natural hair. The phrase “It’s Wavy and Naturally Curly but they call It INAPPROPRIATE” summarizes what Natural hair IS as opposed to what some people call it. I chose PATTERN by Tracee Elis Ross as the natural hair brand spearheading the campaign.
